FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

50 Mics Inc. teams up with Kareem Davis CEO of BRL Muzik Group and Jayson “J-Didda” Butler CEO OF Crezyrakk Records to create the ultimate music challenge “The 50 Mics Tournament Challenge Artist Search”

New York, NY – The 50 Mics Tournament Challenge Artist Search, Take a second and imagine gathering 50 unsigned talents, from 5 different musical categories (Hip Hop, Rock, Reggae, Latin, and R&B), from all around the country, and have them competing tournament style, battling for a chance to be featured on a major label debut. This is the premise behind The 50 Mics Challenge.

The Brainchild of 50 Mics Inc., Jayson “J-Didda” Butler and Kareem Davis The 50 Mic Challenge supplies much needed exposure to today’s emerging underground artists. By pitting 250 talented artists and showcasing their abilities in front of the elite executives that the music industry has to offer. 10 will be chosen to create a “mash-up” album of epic proportions. Do not confuse this for a mere showcase, for this is much, much bigger. Utilizing our experience and industry connections we have created a 1 of a kind experience which includes: major touring, merchandising, and full on press. To make this even more exciting, the competition will be filmed and broadcasted on Sandbox Television and Hip Hop Uncensored Channels Monthly.

The Concept 0f 50 Mics was born as a direct response to the rampant exploitation of the underground artist. Exposure for artist has become big business. We felt that many talented artist fall between the cracks simply because they are unable to afford many of the various avenues of exposure which exist in today. 50 Mics was founded to be an inexpensive resource for unsigned talent . In many cases real creative people tend to have limited resources and therefore are unable to compete in an over saturated music business. We felt it was time to level the playing field.

50 Mics began as a simply a monthly mixtape that features 50 artist of different musical genres Monthly. Shortly after we added internet promotion utilizing our fully functional interactive and informative website 50mics.com. Each artist who is featured on the mixtape are also featured on the website.

50mics.com and The 50 Mics Mixtape series has received so much critical acclaim and positive feedback from our clients that the next logical step would be an actual venue for our artist to perform and showcase their talents. However we were very skeptical and leery about doing another run of the mill showcase .

Most showcases are designed to exploit the hopes and dreams of the aspiring rapper, singer, etc. The 50 Mics Tournament Challenge’s main goal is to find 10 artist that will travel the country and represent 50 Mics. Our objection is to pick the best talent from 5 musical genres and blend these artist together to make an album of epic proportions. 50 Mics will make history.

So in 2008 50 Mics will begin its search for our representatives. The Compilation album will be accompanied by a tour, merchandise, and top notch production. Through out the competition the progress of our competitors will be chronicled via Sandbox TV and The Hip Hop Uncensored DVD Series.

The 50 Mics Tournament Challenge Artist Search will energize and galvanize the music industry. 50 Mics is doing something that has never been done before. J-Didda says “I Promise You We Will Save The Music”

PETITION THE RIAA (GOODBYE GOLD & PLATINUM.. HELLO BRONZE)

It seems like every album is only selling like 250,000 copies we should start a petition for "Bronze records" awards so at least these artist will have something to hold their heads up high for. I mean if an artist says; "Well we spent a million dollars but we went bronze" its better then saying we flopped. 10 million is Diamond (When was the last time an artist sold 10 million?) 1 Million is platinum seems unobtainable lately.. 500,000 is Gold and people barely do that.. and then we can say if you sold like 700,000 we can say you went "Double Bronze" or "1/4 Platinum"
So Mims had the hottest record out but sold like 2,800,000 (estimated) he deserves a plaque .. so we should give him The Bronze Record..
Now People say that I am "rewarding mediocrity" but I say Hey this is America..

If we have a new distinction then maybe companies won't have to match every record and inflate sales . So I say we email. The RIAA and get that distinction.

LOG ON TO WWW.RIAA.COM AND LET EM KNOW!!!
What u think? I need a list of all the bronze artist this year

What If Brittany Spears Commits Suicide??

Now I'm here listening to Justin's Album and this song came on now I know I'm a fucked up person but when Brittany finally decides to take the "happy Jesus juice" and leaves us Maryln Monroe style.. do you think she gonna be playing this song?? hmmmmm lol Now if that does happen do you think Brittany's family would sue Justin for wrongful death like the Goldman's did O.J.?? hahaha

yea yea I know I know ...

Just Random thoughts
