Why was there no real mention of the Transpacific Partnership at last night DNC Debate?

On Tuesday the Democratic National Committee’s first debate aired on CNN. Featuring Democratic candidates; Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, Lincoln Chaffee, Martin O’Malley and Jim Webb. The debate was in fact surprisingly heavy on actual issues and less on “political fluff”, despite the lack of in depth discussions on many topics that are important to many voters.

The presentation by CNN had an initial feel of a heavy-weight boxing fight. CNN had a “pre-game hype” video positioning Hillary Clinton as “The Defending Champion” trying to hold off “The Seasoned Veteran” Bernie Sanders and even had a “pre-debate” National Anthem sung by a rock star.  At this point I was all ready for another beauty pageant like showcase similar to the GOP debates of the summer.

The moderator Anderson Cooper did his job to try and stir the debate away from nuance discussions on issues such as the economy, racial tensions and foreign policy. The candidates for the most part were able to clarify their positions on substantive issues but a real attempt to contrast the positions of the two front runners; Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders did not happen.

Senator Sanders and Secretary Clinton did spar briefly on the differences between what Bernie Sanders calls “democratic socialism” and “capitalism” as well as what would be the best method of dealing with the largest financial institutions that many would agree need more regulation. Clinton’s position is that government should regulate Wall Street more aggressively while Sanders approach was to simply break up the banks.
Wall Street speculation is one of the most pressing issues of our time but CNN missed an opportunity to not only clearly define the space between Clinton and Sanders but the differing philosophies in general in regards to free trade, monopolistic tendencies of corporations and our global economic position by ignoring for the most part the looming Transpacific Partnership.

The only mention of the TPP came when a question was poised to the former first lady on if she has a history of being a “flip flopper”. Clinton has changed positions on issues such as the Keystone XL Pipeline and the Transpacific Partnership.  The moderators choose at that moment to pivot to Bernie’s record on gun control and “socialism”.

The TPP was recently approved by a delegation of 12 nations and is now awaiting congressional approval before it will become law. The agreement includes the United States, Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore and Vietnam. Authors of the deal say it will cut trade barriers, set labor standards, and protect multinational corporations.  Proponents of the TPP and The Obama administration claim that the deal will increase jobs, wages and stimulate the economy.  Hillary Clinton as secretary of state helped to Sheppard the TPP through the process of ratification and is on record of supporting the deal up until recently.

Opponents including Bernie Sanders however point to the history of past global trade deals such as NAFTA, as well as leaked drafts of the TPP that many journalists, labor specialists and attorneys have said will do the opposite of what has been promoted.

The TPP will make changes to Intellectual property law this would threaten a rise in prices of generic pharmaceuticals and potentially end net neutrality.

The agreement also offers incentives for off shoring of jobs but and has no protections for countries to place barriers on corporations when they want to leave to cheaper labor markets. Among the most dangerous provision of this deal is the Investor State Dispute provisions allows corporations to sue in the World Court a state or a country if a law or regulation is passed that may limit the profits of a corporation.

Senator Sanders sees the TPP as expansion NAFTA which he believes is one of the major reasons why millions of American jobs have been shipped overseas since 1994, exasperating American unemployment.

Last week Hillary Clinton came out in opposition to the Transpacific Partnership Agreement, however many observers wonder if she is only pandering to the base of the Democratic Party who are for the most part in strong opposition to the deal. While in contrast Bernie Sanders has voted against International trade deals in the past including North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA); which was passed by Bill Clinton in 1991. Many believe it was Sanders who has forced Clinton to come out against the TPP but critics say she has left herself enough room to change her mind on the deal if she were to take The White House.

Cooper and the other moderators missed a chance to really flesh out both candidates as well as the O’Malley, Chaffee and Webb’s positions on the TPP and trade in general. Before the debate CNN promoted that thousands of Facebook users sent in video questions however only two were used. I am sure that at least one question was related to the potential dangers of the TPP.

It is obvious that CNN choose not to have an in-depth discussion on free trade and the TPP, my question is why? The answer for me is the corporate interests. During the debate an ad aired from Citibank promoting international investment in Africa and other places then shortly after another commercial ran from consultation business for mergers and acquisitions. The commercials were aimed at the donor class not at mainstream America. Aside from two political movies “Suffragette” and “Our Brand in Crisis” none of the other ads was selling anything an average person would have interest or ability to engage in.

This is precisely why we must move to public funding of elections and get money out of politics. Although the debate did begin the conversation of many bedrock issues such as Healthcare, Campaign Finance, Income Inequality, BlacklivesMatter, police brutality and the economy. The fact that the most important trade agreement was not discussed proves that the “powers that be” are able in many ways to limit the scope and parameters of the political discourse in this country.

If the American people are fully engaged and understand what the TPP is all about they will force congress not to ratify the deal. The DNC debate was limited to future policy changes and not current ones and that to me is a shame.

The Bishop Is Crossing aka To be or not to be... A Kardashian: How does celebrity for celebrity sake effect the development of our culture?

Recently I posted a rhetorical question on Twitter/Facebook saying "How do we raise daughters to value an education when so many young women are making good money as "Instagram models?". Well that sparked a nice exchange about morality, self-esteem and the like. Which I found slightly disturbing and sexist even coming from women who describe themselves as "feminist' were reduced to slut shaming in part. But the post got me thinking about the macro impact of our celebrity culture.

From our politics to our economy the “look” is more important than what is tangible. How do we continue into the next century when flash and sizzle is more important than what is in the pot?

It is obvious that America is more concerned with being entertained then being governed. We want someone that makes us feel good about ourselves rather than one that encourages us to improve our station in this world. We prefer to be titillated then educated or informed and that is very dangerous in today’s troubling times.

The rise of Donald Trump as a viable candidate for President should give us all pause. I don't think Trump's front runner status is merely due to his celebrity status, there is something to be said for today's political climate craving someone who doesn’t appear tethered to the oligarchs or the status quo. But we must admit his entertainment value helps.

This “Political Entertainment” culture isn't anything really new. It goes back to Ronald Regan and arguably back to John F. Kennedy. In the modern era Bill Clinton & Barack Obama both ascended to the Presidency because they looked and sounded good on Television. However Regan, Clinton and Obama at least had some substance. These new bunch of presidential contestants at least on the Right have none.

Donald Trump, Ben Carson, Ted Cruz and the bunch all have the depth of understanding in regards to history and current events as a gold fish. The state of affairs are so dire that Kanye West can announce his presidential run on an award show not for this cycle but for the next Presidential cycle of 2020 and people actually think he is serious.

We are not a serious people anymore.

Since the 90s when President Bill Clinton signed and Telecommunications Act in 1996, the "News" was allowed to be placed for the first time under the "entertainment division" of networks. The result was the news then became a source of revenue unlike before when it was simply considered something broadcasting companies had to produce to maintain their charter under FCC regulations. Now arguably news divisions becoming profit centers began in the 70s way before Clinton. The legendary movie "Network" illustrates how the media plays on fear and sensationalism for ratings and really foreshadows what would eventually become 40 years later. But in my opinion the Clinton law allowed infotainment to not only be legal and open but put it on steroids.

Well what does that have to do with the Kardashians?

News producers no longer produce the news the people need but they produce the news the people want. In a sense the news has now become reality television.

Ten years ago Kanye West said "The President doesn't care about black people", but is it really the "Presidency" itself that doesn't care?

Looking on back on the 10th Anniversary of Kanye West's most famous and controversial public statement.

Ten years ago Rapper/Producer and now "apparently" future presidential candidate Kanye West said these seven now famous words "George Bush Doesn't Care About Black People".

On national television during a telethon to raise money for the victims of Hurricane Katrina, Kanye West at that time was still beginning his career and not yet the mega star that he would eventually become, attacked “The leader of the free world” and the United States government itself in what could have led to an end to his promising career.

There is a long history of artist who have taken controversial political stances or made public impromptu statements that ultimately lead to them being “black-balled”. The list is endless in our history; Nina Simone, The Dixie Chicks, Sinead O’Connor, Billy Holiday even John Lennon; all saw their careers take a dip and some never recovered after they made remarks unfavorable to the powers that be,

However the reverse seemed to have occurred for Kanye. His statements arguably raised his stock price and even caused George W. Bush to lament in his biography that; that moment was the "lowest point of his Presidency". Yes not the crashing of a global economy or an unnecessary war that caused the deaths of millions including tens of thousands of American soldiers, but the words of a young upstart entertainer cut the former President like a Knife. Why? Because, it was in fact true.

But maybe it wasn't George W. Bush who didn't care about Black people but America itself..

“The Bishop is Crossing aka We Don't Need Another Hero: Why Movement Politics Are Best When Leadership Is Decentralized”

Tina Turner' Classic "We Don't Need Another Hero"

When we teach our children history we tend to center pivotal moments in time around strong historical figures. Names like Lincoln, King, Roosevelt, even Adolf Hitler are credited with shifting events and shaping history as if these people existed in a vacuum.

The "Great Man" theory permeates our culture. This dishonest, dangerous and lazy method of teaching of history has stagnated human evolution. Conventional history is coupled with Abrahamic dogma which has given mankind a a "savior" complex. Traditionally we wait and sometimes suffer until a “leader” comes along that will inspire us to act in our own best interests. But he or she never does and the people collectively take matters into their own hands.

Every so often the people awaken from their slumber and remember that the Man or the woman doesn't make the movement but it is actually the reverse. The people produce the right person for the times always.
It doesn’t take everyone, not even a majority of the populace. History tells us 20 to 30 percent of a strong dedicated member of a population can change a society. When enough people wake up they will inspire the fearful and apathetic into action. I believe we are witnessing another "great awakening" and the establishment is both scared to death and fascinated at the same time.

If you kill the black lion then Voltron cannot be formed...

The modern movements of today are organic & decentralized which in my opinion is a great thing. In the past the “enemy” has been able to stop civil rights or economic justice movements by directly attacking the leadership of said movements. They have successfully been able to kill off our leaders and subsequently the movements either died or went underground.

A leader or figure head is extremely vulnerable, They can be destroyed, marginalized, corrupted or discredited. For this specific reason the #BlackLivesMatter movement and before them the #Occupy movement was structured around no real central leadership. However this does not mean an absence of any leadership or organization nor are they devoid of a clear and concise position.

The danger of course is the potential for outside agitation is increased and opportunists may use the mantle for their own personal glory. There is also something to be said for large coordinated efforts and a clearly defined hierarchy that would make negotiation with political leaders easier.

So the tension is what do we do? Find a leader or continue with this new "insurgent activism" approach?

Men & Women of integrity are few and far between so picking a leader may be problematic. In addition celebrity is a drug. Many people enter into the public sphere with perfectly good intentions but the allure of the cameras is intoxicating and eventually personal status at times leads to compromises of core principles. With that said however at this point and time it isn't necessary for a "Moses to lead us to the promise land".
Continuing the analogy we all know way to “The Land of Milk and Honey”. Our problem is we are really just afraid to go, we know all too well the path to victory but we also know it isn’t necessary assured or achievable without personal pain and sacrifice. So we wait for “that” person to come along and say “It will be okay, I know the best and safest path”. Essentially to quote John Mayer: “We’re waiting for the world to change.” The world won’t change until we the people change it.

The "new way" is the best approach.

The enemy is too large, too entrenched, and too powerful. They have all if the resources; control of the mainstream media therefore the ability to shape the debate. Control of the judicial system; they have bought and paid for politicians who write the rules in the oligarchs favor. But most important of all “might makes right”; They control the police and military; this enables them to take out any infrastructure or institution they want to. They have a weakness however; they can't hit what they can't target...

They can't squash what they can't catch.

The Bishop is Crossing aka Occupy your Mind..

The Bishop is Crossing aka Occupy your Mind..

Occupy Wall Street, Occupy Your Hood, Occupy America & the world.. But first people "Occupy Your Mind"!!

First & foremost, I stand with the “Occupiers” whose movement which started in my hometown NYC is beginning to spread to other cities across the country. Boston, Los Angeles, Boston, Atlanta and other cities are having similar movements.

Critics attack the Occupy Wall Street for its’ lack of "focus" its “lack” of “agenda”, “lack” of a “five point bullet-point presentation”. They proclaim that these are just a bunch of angry “99's” (of the unemployment variety); a bunch of modern day “hippies”.. (Not hipsters I hate those) They point to the lack of mainstream media coverage.. Even left wing heroes such as Thom Hartman, NorMan GoldMan, Lawrence O'Donnell, Keith Olbermann & Rachel Maddow was late to the party.. As always our so-called black leaders are even more late.(Ebonics..)

The believed problem with Occupy Wall Street is the movement's lack of a cookie cutter marketing strategy. The limited amount of media attention tries to compare it to the Tea Party Movement, which was nothing more than an elaborate guerilla marketing campaign.. We do the same thing with a new artist we pushing. The corporate media is late to the party because it’s hard for them to define it. (At least that's their excuse) The Right knows it’s against them but the "Middle Left" or what I like to call the Progressive panderers is afraid of this movement because it represents the frustrated and disenfranchised segment of their base. Not to mention Wall Street owns all the corporate media outlets. Is there any suprse of the lack of coverage?

So what is the Average person's problem?

Why the Apathy?

Why are the secretaries, mail room workers, lowly office clerks..etc complaining about the “Occupiers” disrupting their commute or lunch hour?

The answer is their mind is "Occupied" by the drunken stupor of apathy.

The one catch phrase I have heard from the Occupy Wall Street Movement is "You are the 99 Percent".

Bob Marley said to free your mind from mental slavery.. I believe our minds have become to “free” and we occupy it with nonsense, reality TV, American Idol the repackage New American Idol aka X Factor.. (If you're like me you turned it on thinking they did a TV version of the comic book)

No our minds are occupied with mental stimuli that is designed to retard our ability to think critically coupled with a narrow sense of processing information causes most people to lack the ability to see the big picture. Its either “Left” or “Right”, “Black” or “White”. “America” vs. "Them" (whoever they maybe)

My last Blog was "A Leap to Cynicism" (I have been slacking yes I know I haven’t been motivated to blog) I watched how people have become too complacent with their views.. How Black people who once were the moral compass of this nation have become the silent apathetic minority.

If you are black you cannot question the President without fear of being called a hater. Tavis Smiley and Cornel West have basically been kicked out of the so-called “Black establishment class” as Reverend Al-Pportunist has been basically ushered in as Barack Obama’s Fredrick Douglas, even got his own nationwide political show. (Ugfffzville indeed)

Little to no Media coverage was giving to Mr. Smiley & Dr. West's Poverty tour across America. At the same time the 2011 Census report shows that poverty in this nation is at an all-time high. In America 1 in 5 children live in poverty and the we are second to last in economic upward mobility amongst developed countries but the people are asleep.

Our slumber can only be attributed to the wealth of this nation and its safety nets that still remain for NOW and our President who despite the fact some of his supporters feel he hasn't done enough during his time in office still pacifies his supporters and left leaning critics. (Now I won't discuss my views on Obama or his place in the NWO's master plan, but I will say this the "Change..") Our Minds are clouded by nonsense.. We are so used to “sound-bites” and "twitter comprehension" that we can think past 142 characters.. Hell even Facebook dumb themselves down.

Today Ed Shultz who I agree with most of the time said he will not cover the Occupy Wall Street movement because they don't have a clear cut message. Ed went as far as to say they need disband and get folks registered to vote for the Democratic Party.. Mr. Shultz like many others on the left believe they need more than just to say "We mad at all the money effecting everything. Ed's passion I love but he has it wrong. That is the only message needed for right now, as it grows so will its organization and its “articulation”. (Local unions and labor organizations are begning to lend there support as well as celebrities so this will come)

There is no need for a 5 point-bullet PowerPoint presentation of the grievences of the Occupiers.. It’s clear!! The Owners of this world has overreached. These corporate Plutocrats have over done it.

The 1 percent controls the media political parties, our entertainment and even our educational system. I think that message is just perfect for now. The Entire world from the Middle East to Europe is saying the same thing..

"You are the 99 percent‼"

The Uber-Rich has over reached …

The American people is use to the rich getting richer we accept that, we understand that even applaud it but the “American Dream” that we may one day also be rich is becoming more and more an illusion.. Through education and hard work we believe if we work hard we can achieve maybe not riches but at least do better than our parents.. However things have changed. Manufacturing jobs have disappeared for the most part, entry level jobs has been outsourced and mid level employment offers suppressed wages with lack of growth. (Let's not forget the mountain of student loan debt.. That my generation is settled with..)

Do remember the outsourcing of jobs with these lop sided trade deals began with NAFTA & CAFTA which was designed by the Great Bill Clinton and his administration. In Clinton's defense he figured a surplus (which he left) would help buffer the lack of jobs and keep the American middle class & working class afloat as we transition to a new economy but it was started under Him.

President Bush of course went through the surplus like a drunken cowboy at a brothel and here we are..

The middle class is an endangered species and folks are starting to get it.

But of course the apathetic mind isn't occupied on the right thing and neither is the "so-called" mainstream left.. The "Occupiers" of Occupy Wall Street are having town halls, educational discussions on democracy and how to effectively convey their grievances. This is not the seeds of a political “sea change” or a political party's “re-focus” or “re-branding”, this is or could be a revolution..

Would you rather a peaceful revolution with marches and discussions, a movement that lacks some publicity and marketing campaign strategy or something a kin to the French revolution? The only violence so far came from the NYPD it was just a matter of time too..

My Issue…

I do not see enough black & brown folk down there.. With unemployment at 16.5 percent amongst African Americans there should be more.. Where are the black fraternities and soroaties? I know Homecoming is coming.. Occupy your mind on something else then apathy or avoidance.. I am glad to see Russell Simmons has giving his support perhaps others will follow and "we" will get more involved if only in a supportive role

It’s time to Occupy your minds on making this world a better place for my God Daughter and baby cousins

Occupy your mind after you free it..

GET IT POPPIN’ RADIO AKA DA G.I.P. & L.Y.F.E.S.U.X. TV PRESENTS: "MY VOTE COUNTS" 2008 ELECTION PLATFORM DEBATE NOVEMBER 1 @ THE LEGENDARY SHOUMBURG CENTER FOR BLACK RESEARCH IN HARLEM!!!

My Vote Counts 2008 Presidential Platform Debate

Schomburg Center for Black Research
515 Malcolm X Boulevard
New York, NY 10037-1801
(212) 491-2200

Change is coming. We are on the verge of an unprecedented and historic presidential election. No matter which party wins, the victors will be breaking ground in American history and changing the U.S. political landscape. It is up to us to make the choice that will change America forever.

And while every election holds tremendous importance for the direction of our nation, the electricity surrounding this 2008 campaign is fueled by more media coverage, novelty candidates and celebrity interest than ever.

Where do you stand?

Too often young adults lose their voice in the political process and dismiss their opportunity to vote, as if it doesn't matter. Or they fail to see any real difference in the candidates, leading to a disinterest in the process. But No More! Young minds all over the nation, understand that this election is different. It is an election that brings the opinion and power of young voters to the forefront. It is a neck-and-neck battle and every vote truly does count. The young vote - in the past ignored and taken for granted - can be the voting demographic that decides this election. Youngsters have gathered in droves throughout the country to stand up and be heard, and this November they will make the choice that will affect America forever. They are proving they want to start being part of the future solution, now!!

To make such a decision one must know as much about the candidate's platforms, goals and political track records as possible. Therefore, Get It Poppin' Radio aka Da G.I.P. & L.Y.F.E.S.U.X. Television in conjunction with Didda D.I.D.-IT Production, NBM Publicity & L.Y.F.E. Productionz Presents
"MY VOTE COUNTS" 2008 Election Platform debate.

Presidential Candidates Democrat Barack Obama & Republican John McCain have separate and distinct ideas on the direction of the country. At a time when our country faces unprecedented economic divisions, war, an energy crisis, and environmental strife, the decision we make is crucial. This debate is designed to empower and inform the often disenfranchised and disinterested youth.

This Town hall debate will consist of Representatives of both major parties and focus on 3 major topics that tend to affect the urban and working class communities more than other groups.
1) Education
2) Economics
3) Civil liberties

We will also have a few questions from the crowd. Our intention is to have an audience of Independent, Democratic and Republican leading potential voters. An event of this magnitude will assist in educating first time voters or people approaching voting age, and engaging them in the political process.

The debate will be held at the legendary Schomburg Center for Research In Black Culture and broadcasted via video conferencing with various colleges throughout Queens and Brooklyn as well as universities in Atlanta, GA. The debate will also be heard and seen on both Get It Poppin' Radio aka Da G.I.P. & L.Y.F.E S.U.X TV as well as any other major local media outlets.

We will also have a special musical performance and influential guest speakers spanning politics and entertainment.

TAVIS SMILEY ON JAMIE FOXX RADIO SHOW "THE FOXXHOLE"

Photobucket

Okay so you know I was on the road this weekend went down to Howard University’s Homecoming. The best thing about driving down to DC is I get to listen to my Sirrus Radio, and I love the Foxx Hole Radio show. Jamie Foxx had a special call in from Mr. Tavis Smiley . The past two years Barack Obama didn’t attended Tavis Smiley’s State of the Black Union symposium. Now a lot of people say its politics and Barack did not want to be on the stage with some “Black Radicals”

Jamie Foxx has been supporting Barry O since day one and they kind of got into a heated discussion about “Black Support for Obama” and The balance between “Racial Unity and True Journalism”

PART 1 (START AT THE 5:10 MARK)

SARAH PALIN IS THE REAL TERRORIST

Photobucket

Is Alaska the 49th state, or a rogue state? Sarah Palin's pals seem to be planning to secede or attack. We can't tell, but the music makes that old Santa Claus guy appear more chilling than the bailout. Don't forget, Palin commands an Army, according to her. One quick march through Canada, and they can seize Seattle.
Now Gov. Ding Bat has been calling Obama a Sympathizer and that he “Pals Around with Terrorists” But Palin is a Ranking Member of the Alsakan Independent movement you know what that means she is a secessionist. How can you love a country you want to break away from??

THE BISHOP IS CROSSING (10/01/08) AKA COMMAND DECISION

WATCHING SARAH PALIN LATELY INSPIRED ME TO WRITE AN EDITORIAL AND BIG CED SAID I BEEN SLACKING SO HERE YOU GO..

FULL INTERVIEW WITH KATIE COURIC

NOTICE HOW PALIN CAN’T NAME A SINGLE NEWSPAPER SHE READS. SHE IS SO DUMB IT IS UNBELIEVABLE; IT MAKES ME WONDER ABOUT HOW INTELLIGENT THE FOLKS IN ALASKA ARE. BUT I DO HAVE A FEELING THAT SHE IS PLAYING DUMB TO CATCH WISE MY HOMIE JOE BIDEN BETTER BE CAREFUL I THINK THE REPUBLICANS STRATEGY IS FOR HER TO APPEAR SO DUMB AND SAY SO MANY BIZZARE THINGS IN ORDER TO LOWER HER EXPECTATIONS FOR TOMORROW NIGHT . THE PUNDITS ARE ALREADY SAYING THAT ALL SARAH PALIN HAS TO DO IS SAY HER NAME RIGHT AND SHE WON THE DEBATE.

CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS?

WATCH THE INTERVIEW AND I FEEL BAD FOR KATIE COURIC THEN READ MY BLOG ON THE SUBJECT

THE BISHOP IS CROSSING (10/01/08) AKA COMMAND DECISION

THIS COUNTRY IS AT A STRANGE POINT IN IT’S HISTORY WHEN YOU HAVE A WOMAN WHO IS RUNNING TO BE THE VICE PRESIDENT, NEXT IN LINE TO A TWO TIME CANCER HAVING 72 YEAR OLD MAN WHO JUST AS RECENT AS THIS YEAR HAD SOME LYMPHATIC TISSUE REMOVED FROM HIS FACE. I ADMIT I USED TO LIKE JOHN MCCAIN IN 2000, IF HE RAN AGAINST AL GORE IT WOULD HAVE BEEN DIFFICULT FOR ME TO CHOOSE.

THE REPUBLICAN DOCTRINE ISN’T ALWAYS A BAD THING. AT TIMES OF PROSPERITY AND WHEN THERE IS AMPLE OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL A CONSERVATIVE APPROACH IS A GOOD APPROACH. (IE) TEDDY ROOSEVELT (MY FAVORITE PRESIDENT) . BUT THE REPUBLICAN PARTY USED TO ALSO BE PROGRESSIVE, “MAVERICK” IF YOU WILL. THE “PROGRESSIVE” WING OF THE REPUBLICAN PARTY UNDERSTOOD THAT NOT EVERYONE CAN PULL “THEMSELVES UP BY THE BOOTSTRAPS”. WHEN TEDDY BROKE AWAY FROM THE REPUBLICAN PARTY HE TOOK THE PROGRESSIVE WING WITH HIM. SOME WENT TO THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY (IE) F.D.R.; OTHERS STAYED BUT DIDN’T HAVE A VOICE AND SOME SIMPLY ARE NOWWHAT YOU CONSIDER THE GREEN AND INDEPENDENT PARTY MEMBERS (IE) JESSIE VENTURA AND YES EVEN LOU DOBBS.

JOHN MCCAIN USED TO BE ONE OF THE LAST OF THE OLD SCHOOL REPUBLICANS (VERY OLD SCHOOL). WHO UNDERSTOOD YOU CAN HAVE CONSERVATIVE VIEWS BUT THEY DO NOT NECESSARILY APPLY TO ALL OF AMERICA. AMERICA IS DESIGNED THAT DIFFERENT STATES HAVE DIFFERENT RULES FOR DIFFERENT REASONS WE GET INTO TROUBLE WHEN WE TRY TO UNIFY (NOT SAYING THAT ALL UNIFICATION ISN’T BAD JUST STATING A FACT) BUT THAT’S WHERE YOU HAVE THE NOTION OF “TWO AMERICAS” THERE ARE REALLY ABOUT 5 OR 6 .

JOHN MCCAIN ONCE FLIRTED WITH JOINING THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY. NOW THE “JOHN MCCAIN” YOU GET IS A MAN WHO JUST WANTS TO BE PRESIDENT AT ALL COSTS BEFORE HE DIES. I FEEL HIM HE SPENT 5 YEARS IN A WAR CAMP BEATING DAILY TORTURED ETC. SO HE FEELS AMERICA OWES HIM THIS. HE DOESN’T CARE ABOUT THE ISSUES HE ONCE DID HE WILL SAY ANYTHING THAT’S POPULAR TO GET THE VOTE. IF OBAMA SAYS LETS RAISE THE FEDERAL BANK PROTECTION FROM 100,000 TO 250,000 MCCAIN SAYS THE SAME THING. OBAMA WANTS TO REFORM VETERAN RIGHTS MCCAIN IS GOING TO REFORM VETERAN’S RIGHTS .

IT IS DISHEARTENING THAT A MAN WHO IS A “PATRIOT” WOULD COMMIT SUCH AN ACT OF “PATRIOTIC MALPRACTICE” AS TO SUBMIT THIS WOMAN SARAH PALIN FOR THE NOMINATION OF THE SECOND HIGHEST OFFICE IN THE LAND. THE SECOND MOST POWERFUL PERSON ON THE FACE OF OUR PLANET! THIS COMING FROM A MAN WHO HAS SAID; “THAT AT 72 YEARS I WOULD BE DOING A DISSERVICE TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE IF I STAYED IN OFFICE FOR MORE THEN ONE TERM.”

PEOPLE HE DOESN’T FEEL HE CAN MAKE IT PASSED 77 YEARS OLD !!!

HE WON’T RELEASE HIS MEDICAL RECORDS..

HE KEEPS SHUFFLING HIS 100 YEAR OLD MOTHER OUT LIKE LOOK ITS IN THE GENES..

LOOK I AM SO CONFLICTED THIS POLITICAL SEASON MY GUT TELLS ME THAT IT DOESN’T MATTER ONE WAY OR THE OTHER THAT PRESIDENTS ARE CHOSEN AND NOT ELECTED. AND I STILL GOT A “WAIT AND SEE” ATTITUDE ABOUT OBAMA NOT BEING THE “ANTI-CHRIST” OR A ‘MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE IF YOU WILL. BUT LOOK AT OUR CHOICES LOOK WHAT 8 YEARS OF REPUBLICAN RULE HAS DONE TO OUR COUNTRY.

IN THE LONG TERM MY FEARS MY “PARANOIA” MIGHT BE CORRECT BUT IN THE SHORT TERM I’M MOVING OUT OF THE UNITED STATES IF MCCAIN WINS FUCK RAP, FUCK RADIO, FUCK TRYING TO DELIVER A MESSAGE TO OUR PEOPLE THRU MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT I’M OUT.

WITH THE CHOICE OF GOV. SARAH PALIN AS V.P. IT PROVES THAT JOHN WASN’T PICKING SOMEONE THAT COULD HELP GOVERN. I DON’T THINK THE DAMN WOMAN COULD EVEN MAKE COFFEE RIGHT. NO I’M NOT A SEXIST BUT I’M SAYING, SHE IS JUST EYE CANDY. THEY PICKED A WOMAN TO GET THE IDIOT WOMEN WHO ONLY SUPPORTED HILARY BECAUSE SHE WAS A WOMAN. AND HOW MUCH DO YOU WANT TO BET THAT IF HILARY WON MCCAIN WOULD HAVE FOUND SOME NO ACCOUNT BLACK PERSON TO BE HIS RUNNING MATE AND A BLACK WOMAN AT THAT SECRETARY CONDOLEEZZA RICE , REMEMBER HER?? HOW COME YOU AINT SEE HER LATELY?? WHERE DID SHE GO?? SHE WAS ALL OVER THE NEWS WHEN CLINTON WAS WINNING. DO THE MATH PEOPLE.

MY PEOPLE REGISTRATION IS OVER OCT 6, REGISTER TO VOTE AND VOTE FOR OBAMA AND JOE BIDEN. MAKE SURE YOU RIGHT WITH GOD, JESUS, ALLAH, JAH RASTAFARI OR WHOEVER AND IF BARRY O. MAKES THAT SPEECH TALKING ABOUT GO GET A CHIP PUT IN YOUR HEAD THEN ITS TIME TO TAKE HIM OUT MARTIN LUTHER KING STYLE LOL..

BILL MAHER ON SARAH PALIN KEEPING IT REAL..
